((Yeah, anyone can crash this party and catch a couple traitors red-handed.))
I took a walk around the world to
Ease my troubled mind
I left my body laying somewhere
In the sands of time
I watched the world float to the dark
Side of the moon
I feel there is nothing I can do
The moon's beams were weak, but their light was enough for the black cat to see by. It always had been, and it always will be. She had someone to see, someone that she had seen every night the crescent moon shone bravely over the dark moors.
She could feel the eyes of StarClan on her dark form, but it no longer bothered her. If StarClan ever had a problem with her sneaking away from her life to see her heart, they had not said anything to any cat, and it had been many moons since her affair had begun.
I watched the world float to the
Dark side of the moon
After all I knew it had to be something
To do with you
I really don't mind what happens now and then
As long as you'll be my friend at the end
Another dark form kneaded his paws anxiously beneath the Thunderpath. Shouldn't she be here by now? What if something had happened to her? He didn't think he could survive that. The soft padding of paws alerted him to another cat. He tasted the air, and it was her. His heart skipped a beat.
It seemed as if a spot of light accompanied by a shadow drifted into the tunnel, but he knew better. "Featherstar?" he whispered, his voice strained. "Yes, Nighthunder?" she touched noses with him, and he released the breath he hadn't known he'd been holding.
If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well, will you be
There holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side with
My superhuman might
Kryptonite
Featherstar purred softly. "You were always too worried for your own good, mousebrain." "Yeah, well... How is everything with your Clan?" Nighthunder asked, not liking the subject. He wished he hadn't. Featherstar lay down on the cold ground, her head forlornly on her paws. "I don't know. Ever since Smokypelt found out I had lied about his father, something has been different about him. And there's a feeling of something strained in the air...I don't know how to re-unify my Clan against the threat of BloodClan. A few think the alliance is a ruse from the other Clans to get our territory. They can't forget the time when WindClan was the weakest Clan in the forest. And BloodClan..." she looked up at Nighthunder, fear clear in her eyes. her next words were so low, he could barely hear them. "They worship DarkClan, Nighthunder. DarkClan." She whimpered, and Nighthunder lay down beside her. He entwined his tail with hers. "I will always protect you, no matter what. I promise."
You called me strong, you called me weak
But your secrets I will keep
You took for granted all the times I
Never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head, if
Not for me then you would be dead
I picked you up and put you back
On solid ground
Featherstar nodded, her eyes closing sleepily. "I know. And you know that I will always be there if you need me, right?" Nighthunder licked her ear fondly. "Of course I do." He grinned when he realized she was already asleep. He placed his head beside hers. It wouldn't hurt to get a little sleep...
If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well will you be
There holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side with my
Superhuman might
Kryptonite
