She was glad she had Lightningfire to hunt with.

Moonfrost was unsure of herself, which was unusual. She had hoped she didn't sound desperate. How else was she supposed to make herself a great hunter than by hunting with one of the best?

Uh oh, Moonfrost thought, I bet he thinks I'm stupid now.

Uncertainty flooded the she-cat's eyes.

"Umm no...nothing's wrong," she stammered, "How about tomorrow? When would you like to go?"

She kneaded her paws into the soft earth while she waited for Lightningfire's answer.

Moonfrost's expression brightened as he agreed. But old fears came to her mind as she thought about him. What if he doesn't have feelings for me?she thought. Nonsense! If he doesn't he wouldn't have answered so shyly.

She perked up a bit as she thought of tomorrow's training session. Maybe he would show her he cared.

"Great! Well, I guess we'd better bring this fresh-kill back to camp,"she meowed,"C'mon I'll race you!"

She bounded off with a mrrow of laughter at getting a head start.
