Tawnypelt knew she should be in the nursery but she had o find it. She seached the gloomy tunnel for the one thing she needed. Then she spotted the mound in which she had buried the prey. lunging into it she knocked it down. 5 plump prey animals lay there. snatching them up she began to pad out of the path. the strong tang of prey stung her nostrils and she was tempted to eat.she shook her head. she had done this to help the clan and she was going to do it!

A rustling of leaves, and Stormchaser padded out into the path. He saw Tawnypelt, the other warrior, and smiled...trying to seem friendly. She was likely younger than himself, judging by appearance alone, and he wouldn't want to...scare her with his dark past. "H'llo," he muttered, nodding to her gently. He caught sight of the fresh kill and realized she had been hunting.
Stormchaser noted she was rather thick 'round the stomach. At first he thought that perhaps she was eating more than she should have, but then he remembered what Shadowstar had said of Tawnypelt being his mate. She was having kits.
"Shouldn't you be in the nursery? I can take care of hunting..." he growled softly. "I'm guessing that you're with kits, so you should likely go there. Rest. It will be the best for you." Stormchaser paused, before adding. "Believe me. I know. I've seen many a she-cat say it."

Stormchaser smiled, nodding to the young queen.
"You need your rest. Run along. Shadowstar and I will worry about fresh kill."
Stormchaser kept his intelligent yellow-green eyes on her, making sure she returned to camp.

But tawnypelt didnt move. her golden-brown pelt shone in the dim light.
She wouldnt leave. She couldnt.
A searing pain in her belly made her collapse and she felt she was going to collapse.
It was the kits!
