Moonfrost taking up residence

Moonfrost slowly made her way to the entrance of the nursery. She knew the kits would be coming soon, so she came to make a bedding for herself in the nursery. That was where she would sleep from now on until the kits arrived and until they were ready to leave the nursery.

"I think smokypaw is nearly ready dont you?" Lightningfire sniffed.

[moonfrost]

She raised her head to look at her mate.
"To be a warrior? Yes he seems almost ready. But he still needs a bit more training, which is why I'm going to train him as much as I can until the last possible second."

"You should only train him for another 2 days... well atleast thats my opinion..."

[moonfrost]

Moonfrost smiled at him.
"Oh don't be such a mother!"she grinned, "That's my job!"
She loved Lightningfire and his sometimes playful mood to his advice.

He felt his paws bat her tail and he laughed happily. His long claws were seathed though.

She smiled before trodding off into the nusery.
Moonfrost was tired and she wanted to rest. Her belly was growing and she would need all the rest she could possibly get for when the kits came.

Smokpyaw cut infront of Moonfrost,tilting his head."Moonfrost,will Lightningfire have to train me while you`re in the nursery?I dont want him to!"He sat down in a pout,like he wasnt going ot get up if she said yes."Please,Moonfrost,still train me!"He wailed.

[moonfrost]

Moonfrost sighed and gave Smokypaw a tired smile.
"No he won't train you until a day before my kits come,"she replied, "But you won't be able to train your fighting skills with me. You'll have to do it with Lightningfire. I'll be there, telling you what to do, but you'll actually be fighting Lightningfire instead of me."
She gave him a soft lick on the head.

"If I can fight him then..."Smokypaw muttered,examining his paw agian.He put it down."OKay!That`s fine!But,do I have to fight with my claws sheathed?"He moaned,but smiled as she licked him.

Moonfrost could see that Smokypaw needed some encouragement about the future training sessions. She sat down and began to groom him.
"Yes, you have to fight with your claws sheathed Smokypaw," she meowed, "Unless later on you want to explain to Featherstar why you killed her deputy."
She let out a small mrrow of laughter and grinned at her apprentice.

[Whiteflash]

"Yeah,you`re right,I`ll probibly be too strong for him.And,I dont want to kill him,because then we wont have a deputy anymore!Not that I couldnt be one,but,IM still an apprentice,"He sighed,then started grooming Moonfrost."Moonfrost,what will hapen if there are`nt enough cats to mentor your kits?"He asked between a lick.

[moonfrost]

Moonfrost's eyes clouded over with thought. She hadn't really known. Featherstar said they might have to share mentors, but there might not be enough mentors if she had many kits.
"Well, then we might have to share mentors," she responded, "And you might get to help them if you're still an apprentice. But I think you'll be fit enough to be a warrior pretty soon."

[Whiteflash]

"Yeah,after all,I can kill Lightningfire,right?Maybe,if he comes on our land agian,I could kill Lightningtail!Yeah!But,Featherstar says Im not aloud to go anywhere near him,"He mumbled."And she said that he wasnt my father.My fathers name was Quilltail,"He said this like he was asking Moonfrost wether it was true or not.

Moonfrost had a startled expression for a moment. Then she quickly covered it up.
"You are NOT to go looking for Lightningtail, do you understand? I do NOT want you to start trouble," she admonished.
Then she softened up a bit and relaxed. Better to go with what Featherstar had told him then to tell him the truth now.
"Yes, Quilltail.."she replied, "Your father was such a brave warrior. I must admit I had a bit of a crush on him when I was an apprentice."
