Snowbird glanced around. It would be hard to hear over the roar of the falls, but she would manage. Were was Smoulderkit? She hadn't seen him since Bloodstar took him and Amberkit from her den. She had questions that needed answers. StarClan, where is that cat?

Smoulderheart peeled from the bushes.His bright eyes locked onto Snowbird."`Noon,Snowbird.I s`pose you`re wondering whether or not I`m even little Smoulderkit.And I dont think I have a way to prove it to you,but I am."He twitched his tail as the waterfall roared on next to them."I wish to rejoin Riverclan.My father...He has lost his manipulating powers over me.My sister,I`m afraid,is still in his grasp.I fear she has started visiting someone in her dreams.She doesnt even talk to me anymore."He stared at his paws,shooting his claws in and out.

Snowbird frowned. "That's a good thing, Smoulderkit, but there is a problem. I believe that if you and Amberkit return to RiverClan, it will be spell doom for us all. I had a vision from StarClan. In it, there was fighting in camp. We lost." Her eyes were full of sadness. "Only last new moon, I recieved a prophecy. It said that Crystaleye's children will bring our destruction. Of course, we will do everything we possibly can to help you." she added hastily.

Smoulderheart felt a lump grow in his throat.His eyes were full of emotions,but so many it was hard to tell what he was feeling.FInnaly,they flashed and cleared.Into anger."d**n the heavens.d**n them all."He looked away quickly,to hide the anger ebbing away and tears replacing it."I odnt know what to do.I cant go back,or risk beatings and exile.And I cant come home."He said,in a bit of a question.

Smoulderheart`s looked down,working his jaw,thinking."It`s....possible.Dont be surprised if they dont believe it,though."He looked up to Snowbird,his bright blue eyes going over her like he was x-raying her.It was a creepy feeling.Finnaly he blinked."But,I`ll play along."

Snowbird winced at his sharp tone. "Fine. I'll see what Morningstar says. Come the day before the Gathering; we'll plan it out then." The silver Medicine Cat was about to turn away, but then something Smoulderkit had said struck her as odd. "Why would Bloodstar want to make you keep track?"

Snowbird frowned. A horrible thought had just crossed her mind. "I see." she muttured. "I promise we will do whatever we can." The silver she-cat padded off, her silver coat blending in well with the spray. Things were coming together like the peices of a puzzle, but no cat knew what that puzzle was to be.

Smoulderheart straightened and watched her disapear.He glanced down at the waterfall,seeing his reflection.He could of killed her right there.But he didnt.And she trusted him.He didnt know whether or not to use that as an advantage,or really leave his father.He stared at his reflection,and before long he blinked,his eyes tunring a sharp yellow.He growled at it and they quickly went back to blue."I`ll see you later,then.."He turned on his paws and padded off.
