Spottedpath is her life-long mate
Brightheart gathered her thoughts. She wanted kits, but they may not survive in Thunder clan. She slumped towards the Highstone and sat next to Spottedpath, her life-long mate.
"Til' death do we part."
Having Spottedpath join Star clan would be the hardest thing on Brightheart. She had known Spottedpath since they were kits. She fell head over heels for him. Her slender figure glided through the crowd. She spotted Dreamstep. She padded over to her, and plopped right next to her.

Spottedpath crept silently through the underbrush. He open his mouth slightly, to check to see if any prey was about. He caught a glimps of a vole right in front of him. Spottedpath got into a low crouch, ready to pounce. He crept closer, then he heard a snap. He had stepped on a stick. The vole vanished into it's burrow, making Spottedpath uneasy.
"Star clan, why? Why don't you want me to catch any prey? WHY?"
